Coaching Agreement

The working agreement between you and Choose Yourself for one-on-one coaching sessions.

Placeholder content. This page is maintained by the owner of Choose Yourself and is provided as an editable starting point, not legal advice. Replace this copy with your own terms and have them reviewed by a qualified professional before you launch.

Scope of services

Describe what a coaching engagement includes: the Relationship Clarity Session, session length, format, and any follow-up materials.

What coaching is and is not

Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative process. It is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, medical care, or mental-health treatment, and your coach is not acting as a licensed clinician.

Client responsibilities

Set out expectations around attendance, honesty, self-responsibility, and acting on agreed next steps. All decisions and their outcomes remain yours.

Fees and payment

State the session fee, when payment is due, the payment processor used, and any applicable taxes.

Scheduling and cancellations

Reference the Cancellation and Refund Policy and note the required notice period.

Confidentiality

Explain how session content is handled. Note that coaching is not a licensed healthcare service and sessions are not HIPAA-compliant, so protected health information should not be shared.

Termination

Explain how either party may end the engagement and what happens to unused sessions.

Governing law

Add the jurisdiction whose laws govern this agreement.
